Monday : 10th January -  Three classes :

5.00pm - 6.00pm

6.10pm - 7.10pm

7.20pm - 8.20pm.  (all for 6 weeks)

Monday : 28th February - Three classes

Pilates - everyone's heard about it but there are a lot of misconceptions about what the exercises involve, what the benefits are and who can do it.

So to help you decide whether you can benefit from Pilates, here are the answers to some frequently asked questions :

What is Pilates and what do the exercises involve?

  • Pilates is a series of controlled, flowing exercises which strengthen your postural muscles allowing better stabilisation and support for your spine.
  • Most exercises are performed on floor mats, are simple to follow and all can be adapted to suit differing abilities.

What are the benefits of Pilates?

Numerous!  But here are a few :
